May Edition

This week is "Teacher Appreciation Week".  Please take the time to thank your child's teachers this week for all of their efforts this school year.  Teachers work long and hard to provide all of our kids a great school year.  There are lots of ways to thank your teachers but feel free to be creative!  You could send your teachers:
  • Gift cards for restaurants, shopping, books, or coffee
  • Handwritten notes describing and thanking them for their hard work
  • Homemade cookies or other treats
  • Candy of any type is always appreciated
  • Personally thanking them for their hard work
  • Send them an email describing a time when they went above and beyond
Regardless of how you decide to thank your teachers, thank you for supporting those who support your children!

ACT Aspire Update:

We are back on track with our ACT Aspire testing.

Grades 4 & 5 took their ACT math portions last week. 3rd grade math is today.  Part of 5th Reading will be tomorrow.

We are still working on the option to re-test our 3rd, 4th and 5th Reading test whose testing session was interrupted with problems from earlier.  We hope to begin this re-testing session late this week or starting on Monday of next week.  This will probably be only students whose test was interrupted by server issues.
