The LCS BoE approved our building project this morning @ a special called board meeting!
First Team Construction Company from Auburn won the low bid on base bid and alternates.
We will get:
  • Base bid - 22 classrooms, music room, front office and gym
  • Rear parking lot behind the new gym
  • Cafeteria expansion
  • Front parking expansion
This is GREAT NEWS!!!
A HUGE thank you goes to our Superintendent, Dr. Tom Sisk, and our LCS Board Members!
The process to start actual construction will be about 1-2 months from now.  There are contract procedures LCS will file with the construction company and the State Department.

At some point we will close the South parking lot which will change how we do things with drop-off and pick-up.

Hopefully we can complete the front parking expansion first and then close the South lot.

Please be patient during our time of construction.
